German:

Hallo,

Hallo Richard,

we are an english speaking group, no German no Russian :)

I think you might try to resize your video pod and then try to -republish the stream (with different width/height of the video pod).
You can republish the stream by click the *sync* icon in your own video pod or in the user list and the device settings will popup again.

Your effect is the result of the video width/height settings, the application broadcasts the stream with the width/height of the actual video pod.
If you want to publish with 640x480:
Resize the your video pod to 640x480
Click the Sync icon
Republish with the new video pod sizes

... you might see big changes in the needed bandwidth of course.

yeah,

you should try to resize the webcam to 640x480 and not 480x480 before you re-sync / re-publishing the video stream.
Or in other words: Resize to ratio of 4:3 instead of 1:1 before re-syncing / re-publishing the video stream.

google translation:

This is a 640x480 video. I can not make to 480x480, this possibility has not at the software.

Or do you mean configuration in "openmeetings"? I found nothing except config.xml.
There I can only change qualityThere any other way?

've Found: "restricted" room cuts off just right and the left. "conference" room also cuts off the top and bottom.

No,

I meant to resize the video pod to 640x480 not the webcam.

where can I do that?
SOAP calls "addRoom" and "updateRoom" are deprecated. Did it with "updateRoom" tried - VideoPod is not changed. New calls ("updateRoomWithModeration") no longer have the parameters for videopod.
Or do you mean simply drag the mouse videopod bigger? So I can not change the ratio. It remains at 1:1

yes I mean to drag the video pod bigger to 4:3 ratio and then re-publish the stream

even if I set it to 320x240 video. And videopod draw on the entire screen surface.

it is still cut off on the right and left.

Let's try something else: the source code where I can find it?

.. but it might be a good idea for the future to make a default 4:3 setting available.
I think we had already some modification where you could choose from the device settings box the default size of the video pod.

if you could wait for some days I can checkin some code into trunk to edit the video pod size before publishing the video. Then you could rerun your test again.
