Widescreen video

Opemeetings seems to work pretty well. However, how can one change the video ratio from normal picture to widescreen picture that the webcam is capable of recording? I understand that there are some video settings in webapps/config.xml but not this spesific one. The current picture is too narrow for our purposes as we want to have good view of the conference room.

Dear Matti,

I am just a user, but found this out by searching this group.    To increase the size of the video screen, you simply graby the black "L" icon shape in the bottom right hand corner and extend it to the size you want, then hit the "refresh" at the top of the video screen which are the two  "squiggly lines" which will refresh the video with clarity.   Remember that the larger you have your screen, the more bandwidth it is going to use, so if you had a number of people doing this your bandwidth will be less.

Yes, this is a way to change video size but I'm looking for how to change the video ratio from normal 4:4 to widescreen 16:9.

I want to bump this up, so I repeat my problem. I would like to use the webcam's widescreen picture with Openmeetings as the default picture is too narrow and can not cover much. Is there any way to enable widescreen recording in Openmeetings or is it limited by Flash ?

the resize ratio is fixed to 4:3 at the moment. You cannot change that without editing some of the source files.
