I keep wondering if there is any activity going on in the Open Collar project. There was a rash of releases when the data base was taken down, ending in version 3.714 which has the unpleasant property of forgetting primary (but not secondary) owners and other aspects of it's configuration. I somewhere stumbled upon an updater labeled 3.717 which remembered the primary owner, but had a tendency to loose parts of the menu system (e.g. #rlv). I've used that version for about a year. Now I see there is a RC 3.757 with no release notes. Would it at least be possible to find out what's been fixed and or changed in this version. As far a I can tell, it's several years since the wiki or release notes have been updated. Even a brief listing here would be helpful as I and other could at least pass the information along.

Version 3.757 is the latest and has several different fixes in it.
It looks like it is extremely stable at this time and I will be moving
it into release soon. I apologize but Real Life has intruded on my
ability to do this until now as I had to focus on that for the last
few months.

If you wish to volunteer to help in writing release notes, scripting
or even helping out in the temple or chat group, it would be
appreciated as OpenCollar is a volunteer effort and Open Source.

Hello,

Release notes can be compiled from the git commit log here:
https://github.com/SatomiAhn/ocupdater/commits/3.8

However some commits have little relevance to these release notes, and
some may have some obscure enough descriptions, so don't hesitate
asking me if you undertake this task and you have a doubt.

Welcome back Athy, and hello Satomi.  And no Setemia OC did not die or become a fallen tree, what you witnessed is the same thing that many saw when OC went from 3.301 to 3.501.  And outside of what Athy said is just normal for product development.  It is typical of the computer industry to see a few product releases with things like any other program and a lot of releases then nothing for a little while.  If you are a user of say the Phoenix, and Firestorm viewers you will have noticed the same thing.  A rapid version jump then nothing for a while, this is because of trying to merge new code in or create a patch to fix a bug that was discovered after a version release.  Just in this case it was because the boss was on vacation winks at Athy. then ducks and hides.
