So it strikes me that it's time to meet again. Let's meet at the 404 next Thursday the 15th of November at 7pm.

I am inspired by a recent Hacker News post:
http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4759510

I am a terrible programmer too. I often opt for shipping code over beautiful code. Of course there are many concerns that center around this issue and I thought that it would be a great jumping point for discussion.

I would like to come up with a summary (or guide or manifesto) of strategies and tools that we use or have used to produce production code fast. So I would ask you to come to the meeting having prepared some thoughts, code examples, or tools that you can share which might help me (us) to be 'better programmers'.

+1 this post if your are planning on attending.

See you then,
Derrick

Unfortunately I will be out of pocket on Thursday.  Hope it turns out well, though.

Best,

This meeting is cancelled. Too many good programmers in Oklahoma City.
