所以還是不知道Clonezilla live的版本?
是否用最新的Clonezilla live 1.2.13-8看看?

在 ASUS UX21E ，測試使用 usb 3.0 外接硬碟，使可以正常抓到的。當然，型號與您的不同，也許真的需要較新的核心模組。
您可以試試替代版，如下：

剛下載使用，一樣不行 讀不到外接碟，懷疑是 外接碟 usb 3.0 的緣故，原使用 usb 2.0 sata 的可以讀取/備份，但替換 這個 asus an300 的外接碟後
就找不到了。

在 windows 環境下，使用該外接碟時，會有 2 個磁碟，一個 win 會判別為光碟機，另一個才是真正的外接碟。

試看看替代版Testing的20120717-quantal，用的Linux核心是3.5，也許有機會支援到你的硬體。

以我本身的經驗  Clonezilla 讀不到就真的是讀不到

但如果你是用 USB 轉外接的

你可以換成直接用主機板的還有機會可以讀的到
