With the new version of orcopus, is possible to create a orcopus ocr for math formulas?

hi all. I'm working on a project to document accessibility for the visually impaired people and I would like to ask a question. With the new version is possible to create a ocr for math formulas? I ask this question because. I want to use ORCOPUS 6.0 as a base to build this application. Thanks for your answers.

yes. you are correct to use ocropus 0.6(not 6.0) a base to build
a ocr for math formulas. since said ocropus project is pure python built - may not be difficult. No doubt. Start immediately. Let us hope Python expert community will contribute/ help in this regard,since Tom is very busy in improving the ocropus project.

It's probably a good starting point for such a project.  In particular, OCRopus supports both character models in line context and isolated characters.

There are some examples that show you how to invoke parts of the recognizer programmatically here:
