hg clone returning "No connection could be made..."

hi,

i am trying to install ocropus 0.6 as per the instructions given at http://code.google.com/p/ocropus/.

i want to install it on ubuntu 12.04 running in virtualbox on windows 7 host.

the command hg clone -r ocropus-0.6 https://code.google.com/p/ocropus

returns "abort: error: network in unreachable"

if the protocol in source is changed from https to http

the script hangs at "added 124 chagnesets with 168 changes to 19 files. updating to branch default"

I tried cloning https://code.google.com/p/ocropus using tortoiseHg in same Virtual machine. but it hangs forever.

When I tried it on host windows 7 installation the output is like:

% hg clone --rev ocropus-0.6 --verbose -- https://code.google.com/p/ocropus C:\Users\Paragon\Desktop\ocropus

URLError: [Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

I am behind a proxy. when i disabled the proxy and tried it, it still produces the same error.

I've also tried in downloads section https://code.google.com/p/ocropus/downloads/list?can=1&q=&colspec=Filename+Summary+Uploaded+ReleaseDate+Size+DownloadCount

but 0.6 is not available there

Anybody encountering similar issues?

If you had installed ubuntu 12.04(64bit) normal way (not in virtual box), I can help you since I am familiar with  12.04(64bit)-installed thro' wubi.exe in Winxp(sp3). I succeeded to install ocropus 0.6 successfully in ubuntu 12.04(64bit).
