Hi Everybody

 

I've been running most of my life with a few years off and on.  I've been back into it now for about five years now.  I started a facebook page, LakeOrovilleTrailRunners, in order to promote the trail system around the lake and to find new people to run with.  I Just found your Google Group and wanted to say hi and see who all is out there.

 

I am also hosting a free 50k run this Saturday at 7:00 am.  It will start at the Saddle Dam day use area and run around Loafer and then over to the Nature Center and Back along the Dan Bebbe Trail.  More Infor can be found on the Lake Oroville Trail Runners Facebook page.

 

I hope to run with you all soon, I'm on the trails every Sunday and some Saturdays.  I am currently training for Rio Del Lago 100 mile in Granite Bay.

Since most of us are not prepared to take on a 50k just yet, are we welcome to jump in and out along the 50k course on Saturday for a shorter run?  I'd like to organize a run for Saturday morning along some of the same route.

The more the merrier!  I will have a psuedo aid station on Dan Bebbe after crossing OroDam Blvd.  Across from the dam.  I am expecting maybe 6-8 people so far, not really anything big.
