eve runs at Lake O

Hi All

If anyone is interested in joining me on evening runs at Lake Oville, I run Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri - usually start between 5 and 5:30 and run for 1 to1 1/2 hrs on Dan Beebee and/or Brad Freeman, starting from the road that runs by the nature center (I usually park along the far end of the road).   Wishing you all lots of great trail runs!

Hi Linda, I definitely would be interested in running with you when I can make it. I'm unclear though on which is the nature center. Could you give me some more info on the starting point for your runs? I could also post whenever I'll be able to run next and we could pick a meet up spot. I may be able to run today but not until 6 or so. Also, curious if you run any of the other trails around the lake?

Hi Jeremy

Sorry I missed your email!  

the nature center is the old building on the other side of the river from the fish ladder.  Access the river frontage road from the montgomerey / table mountain traffic circle.(not sure if the road has a name - its the road that accesses the picnic sites and nature trail along the river)   I usually park half way to all the way down the road. I haven't run other Lake O trails only because I have a pretty narrow time window in which I can run (while my kids are in gymnastics) - i'd rather spend it running than driving :-)  --  and I don't know the area very well. I'm certainly open to other trails close to the downtown area! 

This week running Lake O  4:15-6 on tues, also running Lake O thurs & fri (starting time TBD).  Mon I may run in Bidwell unless I wimp out in the midday heat - if so I'll run Lake O trails mon eve.
