I honestly dont feel my skill level is very high when it comes to lock
picking. As I mention I have nerve damage in my hands so its not as
easy for me anymore. I mainly do it as a sort of puzzle challenge that
also helps me retain my decayed fine motor control skills. I also do
not live in NYC anymore, and my weekends are usually spent with my
lil' miss. With my own lab at home ive never had a need for a
hackerspace. I am a modest man that will help people that politely ask
for nothing more then the self satisfaction of sharing my knowledge
with others, which is why I do my Open-IPTV show, where all are
welcome to do segments and teach their tech talents, or ask questions
about things they would like to know more about. I literally spent a
year covering 2.4Ghz topics on my show. From modding devices to have
an RF jack, what kinds of coax to use, all the way into antenna design
and the math & physics, but in simple understandable terms. Now we are
getting a LOT of people into *real* ham radio stuff these days. Though
the show is on hiatus due to lack of funding and support, but we
should be kicking back into production soon.
The thing about doing a lockpicking class for me, if I show you how to
make the picks, everyone will need at least 2-3 hours behind a grinder
to make a set, I dont think it would pay off in the end if we had a
large class. Thank you for the invite. I always look forward to
helping out at NYCR but weekends are the only time I get to spend with
my gal.
