NW.js 0.14.1 is released with bug fixes, including the one for Menu regression.

Previously we released 0.14.0 with latest Chromium stable 50 in less than 1 day after upstream release. This is helpful to deliver new features and security fixes to users in time. See upstream blog for exciting new features and improvements in Chromium 50:http://blog.chromium.org/2016/03/chrome-50-beta-push-notification.html

For more information on the new milestone 0.13 and later versions which has an optimized architecture, please see our blog "What's New in 0.13" for a better introduction.

SDK build:

NaCl build and other platforms: http://dl.nwjs.io/v0.14.1/

There are 3 builds for each platform - normal build, sdk build and Nacl build. Normal build doesn't have devtools, only SDK build does. lt can be opened by pressing F12 (Cmd-Alt-I on OSX). SDK packages also have more development tools to be exposed in the following releases, as well as the NaCl support.

Our build infrastructure enables live binary build from git tip so you can access to the latest binary from http://dl.nwjs.io/live-build/

This build completely breaks compatibility with older Mac OS X (10.8, 10.7). Among developers there are still those which use the Steve Jobs's OS. Please.

Unfortunately Google removed support for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8, since these platforms are no longer actively supported by Apple.

You can try to use 0.13.x versions.

That's odd. The Opera had the same issue, but after the similar support message to them, the next build works perfectly fine. (Runs on mac os x 10.8.5).

Could you please post the link to the issue?

I've nothing to show you, because did it directly from the website through the form: https://bugs.opera.com/wizard/desktop.
But I can show you a running opera-developer.
I'm so sorry. :). Is there any chance to bypass the limitations of chromium web-engine?

I could see to revert the limitation upstream made in appInfo.plist (https://codereview.chromium.org/1615823003/). But that won't last long for many versions, because upstream is actively removing code support 10.8-10.6: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/msg/chromium-dev/JVSgSL8wPnE/WECEoYmTBwAJ

The same should apply to Opera too.

Well, if there are no more options, I appreciate your help. Cheers.

I reverted upstream limitation on appInfo.plist (https://codereview.chromium.org/1615823003/). Let's wait for the next nightly build to see how it goes.
