I'm building a stereocamera and I would shoot the two cameras simultaneously. For when the new version will be ready? Could you tell me how to program it myself? I know C#.
Thanks for answering so fast!

Hi, i try to make a release in this weekend. To programming i think  you should download the code first from http://code.google.com/p/nikon-camera-control/source/checkout and try to make some minor changes, but there is a problem the code isn't documented at all :(
When i implement this feature i will send you a test version...

I have the code, but it's hard for me...
I guess you

I wish the test version, thank you so much!!

The code was designed to work with any type if is a code to handle it. The code should implement the interface ICameraDevice.cs and register the camera model in CameraDeviceManager.cs. Maybe in near future i will implement some plugin system.
If you own a  Canon Powershot G9 and find a documentation how to communication with it using mtp, but using wia the camera should work.
Pls send me a log file.

HI, again, in this version i add multiple camera commandline support : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/40987577/NCC/NCCsetup_0.7.272.exe use /captureall command line switch. I don't have two cameras so isn't really tested but should work.

Thank you!!!! When I try, I say if it works. Actually, I was using the shot without autofocus. Is it too much to ask for a version for all devices without autofocus?

I posted the log from Nikon PowerShot G9, PowerShot G12 and Nikon EOS Digital Rebel XTi.
I hope this helps
!

The wia driver isn't support shout without using autofocus or i don't find any solution for it,  For advanced camera control it is needed to control camera using MTP/PTP, so first need to implement camera specific driver, like for nikon, (i have a nikon camera so that was somehow easy to implement, i will try to find/borrow  a canon camera and find some documentation)

Another question all 3 cameras are working or just the G9 ?

I understand...

Only works
G9 camera. Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi has EDSDK not PSSDK. Works with these codes (http://blog.waynehartman.com/archive/2009/01/07/edsdk-to-remote-control-your-canon-camera.aspx). G12 is too new and doesn't find any support.

Could you let me in Dropbox the source code (version with / captureall)? I would change the name of the output images and directory, among other things.

Thank you very much!

I was planning to buy / borrow a Nikon P510 ... Do you think that would work? With autofocus control?

Thx, i will take a look on it. If you want to coding for name and path you should modify the CameraControlCmd project and the Program.cs and you need to change the DefaultSession.Folder and Filename or wait when i will go home and do his modification my self.

In this stage no take a look in this link http://code.google.com/p/nikon-camera-control/wiki/SupportedCameras just cameras with native driver can capture with no autofocus, but i plan to add "native" for more cameras, but i need to collect more documentation about this camera control.

Okay, thank you very much for the information. The truth is that the cameras on that list I think are all SLRs, and I was thinking to use two compact digital cameras, for monetary reasons...

Hello, my friend,
I've been doing some tests with your software, now I've bought two Canon PowerShot G9 and tried to shoot them simultaneously using interface and command.
It has not worked, only takes a photo.
Can you help me?

Attached the log on Bug Report. Thank you.

Already solved this error .. the problem is that one of the cameras had no SD card.

Now I have a new problem, which is that when run for the interface, it works fine, but command line, only the first image saved me, but made the two photographs. Can you help?

Thank you very much.

Hi, how do you make two photos ? Do you have option for raw+jpg ?
And pls. post the log file too, the command line tool use same file for log. A another option you may try to use /wait switch too, maybe the program exit to earlier.
