Just wondering if there is any interest in building blogger integration into MyTracks or if it should be a separate app.

I thinking of being able to post title and description of the activity along with the speed and altitude graphs and a link to the map if it had been published.

Graphs would be rendered using canvas and JS.

Yes, I'm willing and able to build it.

Thoughts?

Hi Dave:

My initial thought is that blogger and My Tracks should be two separate apps.

Is it possible to utilize the Android sharing intent?
E.g., currently My Tracks can share title/description/map url/stats
with any installed Android app that can handle text.

My Tracks can also share a track with any installed app that can handle a file.

I thought about adding a mechanism so that My Tracks can share a track
with any app that can handle an image? E.g., capture a screenshot and
share that screenshot to apps like bloggers that can handle images +
text.

I see Blogger now has an official Android app, I didn't last time I
looked. I'll play with that and see if I can get it to display a
simple graph via a share. I think JS would be best for graphs as it
would be lighter than a screen shot.

Though a screen shot of the map that links to the shared google map
would be cool.
