Hey. I can't seem to find the simple feature of setting condition for tasks that have 2 contexts. For example I'd like to have a task that had 1 location based context (e.g. 'in city') and the other one for hours (e.g. '10-18'). I'd like to be able to choose if these contexts need to be BOTH matched or ONLY ONE and I think I could achieve that by putting AND or OR between them. I know what you'll say - there's time schedule for every context, right? Yes there is, but I don't want to limit my 'in city' context FOR EVERY TASK but just for specified  one! There are tasks that require to be handled in diffrient hours and setting one time schedule for context for EVERY TASK is simply not the best options...
Or am I missing something...?

Your request at face value appears impossible as the open hours "include closed" do not seem to associate with a field in the advanced filter.  I can't think of an easy workaround.

BOC: I’m not sure if this is what you were looking for, but in the advanced filter for Context there are two versions of “contains” – one considers all contexts and the other considers only open contexts.

Hi, Robert. The most powerful logical calculus (or, and, not, etc) in MLO can be found in the "advanced" section of the view definition, so you will probably have the best chance of success if you try to build your solution there.

This is not a fully thought out solution, just kind of a pointer in a promising direction. You could make two sets of schedule contexts, an "or" group and an "and" group. So you might have a schedule context named "OR1018" for tasks that can always be executed between 1000 and 1800 and can also be executed at certain locations. And you could have a schedule context named "AND1018" for tasks that can only be done between 1000 and 1800 but only if you are in the right location. Finally you could create several location contexts like "city". Then, you would create three group contexts, ANDtimes, ORtimes, and loctions, each of which would be defined to "include" all of the relevant contexts that belong to it. Then, you could create a custom view showing tasks where (context contains ORtimes OR ((context contains ANDtimes) AND (context contains locations)))

Thanks to all of you for answers. I really apreciate this.
I must admit I thought about advanced filtering to achieve desired effect but:
1) it's bit complicated and all my 'organized' tasks would look messy
2) there's no way to keep created advanced filter on e.g. android device, isn't it?

No, there isn't a way to create advanced filters on Android. But that doesn't make advanced filters useless. What I do is have some of my workflow on Android, and my more advanced workflow on windows. I do my heavy planning and reorganization on the desktop, and I've found a model that works for everyday use using the Goal, Starred, etc features on Android (which allows sorting, which helps).

Well, that's a pity. I guess you just can't have everything then.. that's pity too:)
Android app is probably still not in final stage, I hope crew will keep developing it.

Off topic, while getting deeper and deeper into MLO I begin to see more and more options missing.. Don't get me wrong - it is still BEST TASK MANAGER OUT THERE, way ahead any other I've come accross. By writing that I was only trying to pay your attention that there might be more important issues to work on than new interface...

It's just my opinion. It won't deter me from buying full version as my trial has just expired.

Best Regards to all of you!

Robert

Keep bringing them up!  Sometimes they are there but really hard to find. Other times, if enough people need a feature it gets added in, or someone else points out why the feature wouldn't work well in MLO. But it doesn't hurt to ask :)
