Hey guys, I'm having an issue with MLO for Android when it comes to the Active Actions view. I'm not sure what I did or if I'm doing it but I'm trying to sort the active actions by due date and I'm not sorting them by ascending order but when I go to the list, the most recent dates start at the bottom of the list with the most recent at the very bottom and they work up from there. I don't  have them sorted by any other way on the app so is there something else that could be causing this? This just happened in the past week I think so I wasn't sure if it was with the recent update or if it's me. Anyone else experience this?

So if I understand correctly, you want the most recent on top, and older (more overdue) tasks at the bottom.

I wonder if you assuming that the Back button when selecting Ascending/descending, will save the change. Try going into Sort, and if Ascending is checked, uncheck it. Then, tap on "Due Date" again instead of hitting back. (I think this is a bug in Android, that Back doesn't save a change to Ascending).

Unfortunately, it probably won't get you what you want, because if you don't have ascending checked, all the undated tasks come first followed by the ones due in the future (but still active now) and then tomorrow's and then today's.

I just looked at my message above and realized I had rushed through it without proof reading it. I had repeated myself a couple times. Yikes! Sorry about that Lisa.

I'm wanting the latest tasks by due date in descending order in Active Actions on Android. Usually, just adding one sort option to sort by due date and not selecting Ascending order will do it. That way, the due dates descend from the most recent (like today's due tasks) and on down. However, what I'm getting now is that the most recent actions are appearing at the bottom of the list, the most recent being the very bottom and ascending upward from most recent and on. Weird.

I've never had a problem with this before and I don't have any other sort options selected in Android. I've been using the 'Due in the next & days' view instead. If not one else is having this problem then it must be something else that I may have set in the program perhaps.

It should still work. It seems to work fine for me. Can anyone else reproduce this? I still think the "bit" for Ascending is checked somehow though perhaps not shown. Have you tried setting it to another sort criteria and then back again? Do your other views sort properly?  Can you reproduce this in a new profile with test tasks? (If so, you could send the database to support).

Lisa, I cleared the sort and then selected Due date, selected Ascending order and then, as you suggested, hit due date again (instead of back button) to save and now it's sorted correctly from most closest due date on down so I think you're right, selecting Due Date again saved it. I had been hitting the back button thinking it saved it. Apparently it's been a while since I've changed the sort in MLO on Android because it was sorted properly before.

Anyway, thanks Lisa for your tip. That was the problem. Thanks! :)
