Hotkey for checking and unchecking

Hi Guys:

I must be missing something. Surely there is a hotkey for checking and unchecking the "Completed" checkbox for a task. If there is I haven't been able to find it.

I did find however, <alt> C, but completes both the task and the subtasks....which kinda overdoes it.

Funny thing is that that was very first thing I tried. But for some reason, it didn't work. 

Now it does and that's the important thing.
