I agree. It would be nice to have same features as desktop. I just started using yesterday so this may be in the system already, but would be nice if sync with Google accounts and outlook accounts were available.

Please don't hijack this thread. All I'm asking for is a way to copy a file off of the android phone that I could use in a disaster recovery scenario. I'm not asking for every feature that the desktop app has. But I would like to know what the differences are so I know if it's worth having both!

I haven't tried it out lately, but MLO now is integrated with My Backup Pro , which has a trial version and costs about $10 last time I checked. I haven't heard of any other way to do a backup .

I would also love to know about that possibility. I only use the Android version. I can see there's an "enable system backup" button on General Settings but I don't know where to fnd that file so I can store it and, if a catastrophy should happen, be able to recover my lists.I'm a very moderate user (not more than 100 tasks altogether) but I like the way MLO lets me organise them... I just wish I could feel safe as to not loosing them if something should happen to my phone.Any information on this topic would be very welcome!Thank you...Sara

Hi, Sara. When the MLO developers first introduced Backup Integration on MLO/Android, it was designed to integrate with some backup process that was built-in to Android and was available on the “Galaxy S” among others. If you had this built-in backup and you turned on MLO backup integration, then whenever the phone backed itself up it would include the MLO database. I’ve never seen this built-in backup, and I don’t know which phone models of Android releases might include it. Those of us without built-in backup prevailed on the developers to integrate with mybackup and they did. If you install MyBackup and select Data backups, MyBackup shows you a list of available types of data (contacts, call logs, playlists, etc) to back up. If you select only MLO, then MLO will be backed up by mybackup and nothing else will be backed up. The backup can be sent to your external SD card or you can rent cloud space from the mybackup people and keep your backups there.
Other than Android’s built-in backup and mybackup I don’t know any other way to make backups, except for moll’s cloud sync.
