Bugzilla 5.0.3 support

Hi Forum,

Please help in resolving the following.

1. Search result for open bugs shows all the bugs including closed ones
2. For closed bugs resolution field is not visible
3. Tabular reports - The reporter wise report is not loading

Also, please suggest for the following

1. Open bugs - Only assignee and the component owner can edit an open
bug. No other user shall be permitted to edit the bug.
2. Closed bugs - How can we freeze a bug after it's marked as closed so
that no one /(except the component owner)/ can edit the bug after
closure

Please be more detailed on what exactly you did with which search form
and got which results. The simple search for "open" bugs doesn't
contain "closed" ones. Only those with the following status and my
5.03. is telling that and behaving so:

> Status: UNCONFIRMED, NEW, ASSIGNED, REOPENED

In combination with your former question this sounds like you have
customized your templates or such. This is how it should look like:

I don't see how this is possible using groups, because at least the
assignee of a bug is to dynamic and can change and such, so I guess
you need an extension to implement this checks.

Alternatively you could look at the list of hooks to see if something
is available which lets you assign the assignee of a bug on each
change to a special group per product, which is the only one having
"editbugs" permissions.

Groups can be created automatically per product as well.

Either bug_check_can_change_field again or maybe another group per
product containing only the component owner and "editbugs" is changed
to only that group on every CLOSE. In any case, I don't think this is
possible with an extension.
