Some picture not displayed after "Compact"

Mac 10.8.3 / Mnem 2.2.1

Added a new Cloze card

Inside Mnemosyne Ran "Compact"

Both "Compact Databse" and "Delete unused Mediafiles"

In some cards Pictures do not show, only the question-mark-icon

Edit card: Image reference is correct, yet picture is not displayed <img src="ah_aulie_reidar_selvportrett.jpg">

Insert image same image again. 

Now image is displayed, Card looks like this

PS 

At first it was worse; seems like many of the pictures were erased from .db_media. I copy-pasted from back-up. At first that seemd to solve problem

Can you come up with a sequence of steps that can reproduce this
starting from an empty database?

Tried. 

No success in recreating problem. Clean DB, some tweaky cards, back up of DB and compacting. Works nicely. I will let you know if I manage to reproduce.
