Hey Everyone,

Lately I have been adding many city parks in Seattle to Google Maps. I've also been updating the entries for dozens of other with correct addresses, websites, etc.
I have had no problem with any parks getting approved. Most get reviewed by GRs or RERs in a matter of hours. Some of my smaller edits will go live on their own. Though, there is just this one park that's not getting approved.

It's been approved three times by Google Reviewers, but still hasn't gone live. This was just a simple update to an existing park that I made over a month ago. I gave it the address, phone number, etc. I've been getting notifications reading "Your edit has been approved by TJ, a trusted reviewer, but will be looked at by other reviewers." I've never seen that with actual Google Reviewers before. It's almost as if these GRs don't realize that it isn't being approved. Today a reviewer added "If you're interested, you could also add a boundary polygon for this feature to help us make map view even better!". That is something I plan to do when it is approved. But I can't as the edit stands right now.

I cam curious to see how many approvals this edit will need. If anyone else wants to throw some reviews on here, I would appreciate it.

Thanks, and have a great weekend!

For the first edit, there's one GR denial attached to it, so a ton more approvals need to be added to overrule that. I see other GRs have made their approvals as well. I'll approve both edits.

This is just a question and may have nothing to do with the no publish problem, but there is one denial by kSandeepk (Google).  Does that make it so this will never be published no matter how many approvals it gets?

If that is the case, would it be better to “undo” the edit and start again?  Just asking as I don’t know what effect the one denial has on an edit.

It's already this far, Josh. Other GRs have added their approval after the denial, and I have seen them pushed through before with other edits elsewhere. Besides, who knows where the original editor is now? Look at the date of the original edit.

Ok so to answer my question, it can be pushed to publish with enough approvals from the right level of reviewers.

Hello,
I approved it and it went live.  Please post these in pacific Northwest group here http://goo.gl/zndy8
We will see it a lot sooner and the other RERs in Washington will see it there.
