Implementation of Feature Extraction from mammograms

Hi,

I am designing a classifier for diagnosing breast cancer for my thesis. I am wondering whether anyone here knows where I can get hold of an implementation of feature extraction from mammograms?

If not can someone suggest an algorithm that can be implemented easily?
