So I'm using some meshes generated by Shapewright (
http://ship.shapewright.com/), but they seem to have weird internal voids that prevent printing.
I used meshconv to go from VRML to STL files, and the resulting meshes look great, except that they have strange hollows that severely weaken the resulting print.
Is there any way to "shrinkwrap" the mesh, to have it reformatted to maintain only the externally visible surfaces?
I tried Poisson reconstruction in Meshlab, but that dramatically reduces the amount of detail in the mesh.
