If you're willing to pay all expenses (or can get them paid) I would be
    happy to present.

That depends upon many things. Are you local? What would your expenses be?

    Thanks

I live in Los Angeles, California. My requirements are food and a place to sleep.
Cheese sandwiches and a couch count for these purposes.
You'd still have to bus/fly me out there.

As a person living the last half of my life in St. Louis, must ask for what purpose is someone offering to import a Lojbanist?  There are at least three reasonably active folks here already (or were the last time I checked), none of whom have been invited, as far as I can tell.

There was no invitation at all. There was a post saying, "We're doing a thing in St. Louis. Who can come and speak for us?". I was the only one that could be arsed to reply to it. If you or somebody else is local it'd probably be a lot easier for not-me to speak there instead of shipping me out from Los Angeles. So maybe offer to go out there yourself? I was just providing an option because nobody said anything.

In other words, it's your own fault. :P

Okay.  Sorry about wandering in after being away for a while and not back reading carefully.  So, what is wanted?  I can't speak about Lojban with a straight face and I don't know whether LoPresso or whatsisname is still here, but surely there are others in this area free for a weekend in October and reasonably up to speed.

John, I was wondering. It seems to me that you rarely contribute anything to the community, and when you do, it is usually to criticize, to point out what you perceive to be flaws in Lojban. You also frequently express your opinion as to the need for a LoCCan3, as you put it. From my experience, it seems that you don't like Lojban.

Now, I may be wrong about all of this, and I wouldn't be surprised if you contribute(d) a great deal that I'm unaware of. But assuming the above is true, and these are your feelings, why are you hear? I am truly curious to know why you maintain a presence in something it seems you not only do not care about, but apparently actively dislike, especially given your recent comment about being unable to keep a straight face in discussing Lojban.

I should probably point out that I am expressing neither agreement nor disagreement about your views, nor am I suggesting that what you perceive to be flaws in Lojban are in fact not. I am not inviting debate as to these topics, but merely wondering why you're here given that you hold these aforesaid views.
