Back end not honoring <select> multiple and size attributes.

Migrating my component to J3.

I need a multi-select list but this..

<select name="foo" id="foo" multiple="multiple" size="4" >...

yields a dropdown list.

I tried using a <div> around the <select> with a class to get the style, and that worked.. except Joomla still puts in a dropdown list after the multi-select.
