Thanks for the support, Tyger and Chewy... Yup, Tyger - that was pretty much my point, and my experience of the situation was much the same as yours, (though you managed to express yourself a bit more diplomatically). ;--]
My Spam-O-Meter was in hyper-drive, and that last unsolicited forward put me right over my tolerance limit... it was way past time for a spot of list-fu. It wasn't a personal issue... but it was a correct usage one. Irrelevant posts aside, that sort of blatant Spam is not in accordance with Google groups policy, at any rate, and it needed to stop. I wasn't asking anyone to leave -- merely to post properly.
Nice to 'see' some familiar faces in here once more..! Hopefully, we can get things back on track again, and revive the group..? As one of the original members of the first Joe Bob group from over 12 years ago, (and the TNT and other chats before that!), I really hated to see it smothered into such an unnecessary death. Drive-in *theaters* may be few and far between these days, but there's certainly no shortage of drive-in-genre B-movies and cult films!
Anybody have any good Joe Bob news, or visited any horror or sci-fi Cons lately -- or ComiCon??
(Did anyone manage to see the "Hogzilla" film he was in?? It didn't seem to have had a theatrical release, and doesn't seem to be available through Netflix, so I was just wondering...)

I'm still here lurking in the darkness....uh, really just been kinda
busy and haven't posted much. I'm also in the other group Chewy
mentioned along with the Cap, bone, Shaka et al..... I wasn't aware of
the "takeover" at the ol' TP but "we've" gotten a taste of it. Oh
well, as soon as I watch another "bad" one I'll pen a few lines...
