A
city-wide campaign for an at-large municipal seat in Connecticut is seeking a
Finance Director to plan and oversee the campaign’s fundraising operation.
Start Date: 03/16
Responsibilities:
- Work with the campaign leadership to develop the
finance plan
- Establish and directly manage the candidate’s call time
program
- Plan and draft an online fundraising program
- Work with donors to successfully execute fundraising
events
- Provide regular reports to campaign leadership on
progress to goal and reasonable fundraising projections.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-years experience in campaign finance
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a finance plan
- Thrives under tight deadlines and long hours
- Experience with assisting campaign management with
cash-flow projections
- Leadership ability in working with candidates directly
- Attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple projects as well as
completing follow-up
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in fundraising database management, experience
with NationBuilder preferred
- Experience in Connecticut politics is a plus
