A city-wide campaign for an at-large municipal seat in Connecticut is seeking a Finance Director to plan and oversee the campaign’s fundraising operation.

Start Date: 03/16

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the campaign leadership to develop the finance plan
  • Establish and directly manage the candidate’s call time program
  • Plan and draft an online fundraising program
  • Work with donors to successfully execute fundraising events
  • Provide regular reports to campaign leadership on progress to goal and reasonable fundraising projections. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-years experience in campaign finance
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a finance plan
  • Thrives under tight deadlines and long hours
  • Experience with assisting campaign management with cash-flow projections
  • Leadership ability in working with candidates directly
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple projects as well as completing follow-up
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in fundraising database management, experience with NationBuilder preferred
  • Experience in Connecticut politics is a plus

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience
