Hi all,

I'm strongly considering attending next year Round Up (well, assuming there is one - but I have not heard yet anything stating there won't be one), but as I'm based in Europe, I'm wondering how to just "get there" from a simple logistical point of view (where do I land ? How do I get to the site ? How much this will cost me...).

If anyone has already done so and can give me some info (offlist, it's not really an interesting topic for other on the list), i'll appreciate it !

Thanks !

A lot of our attendees come from various parts of Europe, or even farther locations around to world. Australia, Israel, etc.

The primary air destination will the Denver International Airport (DIA). You might be able to get there directly from some European cities, or more likely you'll have to connect through an eastern US city like NY JFK, NJ Newark or DC Dulles.

Once you're in Denver, you can fly the last hop to the small mountain city of Gunnison, or meet up with other attendees and carpool up the mountain. I think it's a 4-5 hour drive, but there are regulars that drive it every year and enjoy the scenery (and company).

Hi,

Thanks Carl for the all those infos! Do you have already an idea on the date of the Java Possee  2013 by the way?

(I'm quite behind in my podcast listening, so if you mentioned that in the recent episode, I apologise for having you repeating hear).

Hi

Hopefully it will be starting around much earlier than this year. Say February, because I heard there was no snow on the ground.

Hi all,

Being (again) quite late in podcast listening, I wonder if I miss some news about the roundup 2013... Do you have date already ? Will it happen at the end of February ? Or clearly later ?

(I managed today to be free from work to come, so I'm now quite eager to book the travelling :) )
