Hi guys,

i'm troubling with TC65T java debugging functionality on Netbeans IDE: the problem is that "pseudo-randomly" sometimes works and sometimes not...

When not working (almost every time) the debug console remain pending on "Starting Debug Agent...", the Debug agent console appear but then nothing more happens.
I also noticed that the other netbeans console tab named "Debugger Console" shows:
Attaching on localhost:1033
Connection refused.

I've tried using another PC with another OS but nothing same problem, same details.

Has someone already had this problem?
Comments? Past experiences? Workaround?

I remember some problems like of those when debugging. But since then, I gave up debugging with SDK, because its useless when you have a lot of interconnected threads. So, now when I want to debug, I just enable "debug" level of logging, and see the serial interface output from the device.

Best regards,

Nikita

"TC65T java debugging functionality on Netbeans IDE: the problem is that "pseudo-randomly" sometimes works and sometimes not..."

indeed. bloody annoying, but seems to be the standard operating mode.. as Nikita said, try to implement something like this and monitor the terminal while your app runs on the TC (you can also use netbeans preprocessor to set debug code blocks, e.g. "//# debug warn" followed by logger.log("debug message")).
In cases you really need native debugging, the only cure I know of when you realize the debug will not go through is to do one (or all) of the following:
a) restart the TC, b) close netbeans (and any left-over debugging agents) and c) reconnect the usb/serial connection. Yes, it does feel stupid...
