Hey guys... Haven't been around in a while, decided to pick up where I left off, but haven't been able to connect.

I haven't been around in a while either but every time I TRY to log in, it's down.   I'm not sure if it's because the server is down or the game was taken down :(

Last time I tried to connect was a few months ago and the server was down. I wanted to surprise my old friend who used to play INN like a maniac when we were young. What's the possibility of getting the server back up again and scheduling some virtual meetups in Sierra land?

It's one of those things that I wish could live in perpetuity.  However, it's been a long time between logins for me too.  I could understand servers going down.  (Btw - whoever is hosting feel free to ping me separately to see if I can help with the server bit.)

I think the group is still alive.  We're just sleeping.  (Or waiting for the impending digital 2.0 dark age where INN shall rule again! Mwa. Ha. Huh?)

There's been a huge delay in messages - these are just showing up and they were sent April 23 (today being May 8th).

The servers are up. See screen shot (I just connected, people are actually online playing!)

And also - for whoever is running the server - feel free to contact me. I can assist in also running anything server side (and wouldn't mind having the code for it in case you ever stop running, I'd be happy to keep it going!)

Make sure you have DOSBOX configured properly. Make sure you're USING DOSBOX to connect.

I just logged in and found "Kitty in the 'cano" so all is well in INN Revival Server Land.  

If you need to reinstall, I have a one-step installer program for PCs.  I will send it to you if you need it.  Currently, the link to that installer is broken, but I requested that it be fixed.

Seems like it would make good sense to have a regularly scheduled meetup in INN, say weekly, so that it's not always such a ghost town. At least so you're statistically more likely to have some comrades online. How about Friday nights, 6-9pm pacific, 9-midnight eastern? Show up whenever. Get it posted on the website so folks not on the email know about it too.

I played for a couple hours last night and connected with no problems.  I was alone however while I was there.  My wizard is slowly growing up to be a decent size! :)

I think having a regular time is a good idea... I'm hoping I still have my old characters on floppy somewhere. None the less, it would be fun to start again.

 

 

Does anyone have a chart with maximum stats laying around? I remember certain races married better with certain classes.

 

Anyway, hope to see someone on-line soon.
