I'm having a hard time getting Host Comms to go Active after installing ST-Connect on a Windows 7 box.  I've got it running on many XP boxes without issue.  TASQ says to install it in the root of C. which I have, and Java is installed and running at it's most current release.

Anyone fight this battle before that can offer a tip or two.

Thanks

Max

It's a First Data product. Call the FD help desk.

Have you checked to see if the Windows firewall is blocking inbound connections?

This was it. My dislexia took over when keying the incoming port
number for exceptions. Got my numbers backwards.

Thanks for prompting me to take a 2nd glance.
