Greetings,
When i export my audit it is automatically naming the PDF in a format of the date the audit started and the date the audit was completed ( 4_02-08-13_02-08-12.PDF ).
I want the file to be named job number entered on the Information Page followed by Template Title ( 1734_BlockingBacking ).
How do I achieve this??
thanks!

Hi QC,

Unfortunately, you can't remove the date-stamp section of the document number. You can have the title of the audit appearing in the document name if there is an Audit Title field in the Information Section of the app, but the date stamp still appears after the title. If you want to truly rename the file, you will need to do this on a PC.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Kind Regards,
Taylor Young

Hey Taylor, I am trying to use a company image capture software that needs to have just the title of the audit and not the date stamp. Is there an update coming out anytime soon to the app where this will be an option? It would help me and I'm sure others out a ton if this was possible, if not just to shorten the pdf title.
thanks,

Justin

Hello Justin,

You can change the name of the file to be exported by going to your device's settings and:

1. Scroll down and choose iAuditor.
2. Tap on "Sending Options" found under the Exporting Option header.
3. From there, you can customise the email format using the different language shortcuts available.
4. If you want the audit title to appear as file name, simply enter %t to the file option.

Please see screenshot below. Let me know if you have more questions.

Sincerely,

Haydee

Hi Haydee,

does this fix work on Android? I can't seem to find the settings you are referring to.

Sincerely,

Dallas.

Hello Dallas,

This is not yet available on iAuditor for Android but we will be implementing this in one of our future updates.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Haydee
