Maybe it is just me, but I can't see anything happening following the examples in the getting started. I did filled the developer info...

Where do I see the hello world? where does it take place?

I promise I will follow some python tutorials, but I figured I should at least get the hello world running.. No luck...

By default, Hello World is set to private visibility.  To test Hello World, visit http://human.io/client , which should show you all apps, including ones that only you can follow.

To see your private apps on your phone, go to http://human.io/developer and follow the link.  Unfortunately, this flow is pretty clunky right now.  The best way to follow this link is to visit http://human.io/developer on your development PC and forward the link to your phone.

Let me know if you still have issues.  Thanks for trying us out.

No luck.

I am "following" on the phone app as well. But see no change.

I am running on mac, latest OS.

Are you coding in Python?  Are there any errors you can see? I made a mistake earlier- it turns out our Hello World example is public by default, so you shouldn't have to follow yourself to see it.

When I run helloworld.py, I see this:

Creating human.io micro-app...
Finding human...
Starting main loop...

The app then shows up as "Hello World" with your developer name on:
http://human.io/client

Hope this helps.

Can you paste the code somewhere? (eg https://gist.github.com/)

Hi Roberto,

I have latest OSX, no problems.  After running helloworld.py and the others, I can see them here: http://human.io/client

Maybe you should check your files are in the right place? The directory you downloaded with the examples should be here:
/Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/humanio-python-api

I am just running from the terminal...

however I never get to see:

> Creating human.io micro-app...
> Finding human...
> Starting main loop...

just moved the directory inside
/Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/humanio-python-api

ran from the terminal...

No luck,

It is probably something I am not doing correctly...

Paste the whole error. We can't debug from "it doesn't work".

On my own dev area I just have the humanio library in a subdirectory called "humanio"
