Hey Phoenix -

I built my H13 last year using these panels. They worked great. We had a mild year on the playa last year, but I've used it twice more in a big wind/rain storm and it worked out fine.

I got them significantly cheaper from Uline by ordering an entire pallet:  http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-15175/Corrugated-Pads/Honeycomb-Pad-48-x-96-x-1  I bought a roll of radiant barrier from Farmtek to glue to the outside, which made a very stylish yurt (if I do say so myself :) ).

I still have enough for 2 more yurts, but I'd be willing to sell 1 yurt's worth of panels at my cost to anyone interested. They are currently in Las Vegas, so I don't know how convenient that is. Contact me off list if you are interested.

Cheers -

Tryp

With shipping to LV (around $130 IIRC), the total was around $720 or so. Made it just under $18 / panel.

Mike,

In rainstorm too?  Are they waterproof?  They just look like cardboard, which I can't imagine being waterproof, especially on the innards.???

I use this to cover the exterior of the hexacomb. I won't go so far as to say it's waterproof, but it's pretty darn water resistant. Water just rolls off of it.
