Hi all,

I've looked around and it seems to me that the EC2 auto discovery mechanism only works for one specific region.  Is there any way to configure it to work so that it discovers instances across multiple regions?  If this is not possible, are there any plans to add this feature?

Thanks in advance.

Forming cluster across different regions will cause performance loss, latencies and more network problems. Also each network operation across regions will result in extra financial cost.

You can create seperate clusters in each region and use WAN replication to synchronize them.

Unfortunately I don't think WAN replication will work for us.  We're using Hazelcast for locking, so it needs to be realtime.

No you cannot use EC2 auto discovery to cluster the nodes in different regions.
