Haven't seen anything recent on memory usage, so I thought I would ask if anyone else is seeing Growl memory creep.
Started my machine on Tues. and growl clocked in at 51.9 MB. Steadily increased until today (Sun.) at 158.6 MB. Nothing I can see in the logs.
I have about 60 apps listed but only use 3 or 4 regularly (TimeMachineGrowl, Tracks, NCIDpop and 3 applescripts)

OS X: 10.7.3
Growl: 1.3.3
Style: Smokestack (left hanging) and 2 apps. using Prowl

Chris: Where and when do notifications get written to disk?

Yep. this has been reported under the masive cpu usage  thing. I have not been paying attention to memmmory when I helped to report this issue but I really hope it can be fixed.

Take care all.

Notifications get written to the history database. Which is in Growl's app support directory.

We've been working to decrease memory usage for 1.4. That said, considering that everyone has 2+ GB of memory, I don't know if I would consider even 158 mb as "massive". When 1.4 is out, check and see if the memory increases like this and we can try to figure things out from there. But there are a huge amount of fixes for 1.4 that will likely help with this.
