Sure, we need to know which applications you want to see work with Growl. Pick 3 and we'll go from there (3 makes it easier to work on is all).

Can you go into LiveChat preferences and see if there are any options to enable Growl (it may say to enable Notifications)

Upgraded to Growl 1.4 running latest OSX and it keeps quitting on me (unannounced). Curious.

Same problem here... No app at all in my preferences of Growl 1.4 and I'd like to work with Skype 5.8.0.865 (MAC). Any clue ? Thank you!

Skype 5.8.0.945 is out

In the Skype preferences look under the notification tab and change the notification to growl from built in
