Do you, perhaps, have the latest GrowlMail? And, if you don't want to update it, you should be able to simply run the Uninstall GrowlMail script that came with it? Of course, you can also remove the plugin... it's simply going to force Mail to keep giving you that alert until you update it or remove it. ;-)

Growlmail has to be updated to work with Mail on OS X 10.8.2 & on 10.7.5


The person who is doing it will get it done when he has time
