GROWL 1.3.1 doesn't recognise the apps

I installed 1.3.1 from the app store. I had the pref pane that was
uninstalled before this installation was done. I have since done at
least 5 complete uninstalls fo 1.3.1. I have run the version detection
tool and again in vain. Here is what my version detection shows.

see it shows that all my apps are above 1.2. but this is what growl

I am not sure what the problem is. can someone help here please ?

Your post subject says that applications are not working with Growl, but the screenshot shows applications that are registered. Can you go into further detail as to what's going on? Also a screenshot of what's listed in GrowlVersionDetective would help out here quite a bit. :)

as you can see the versiondetection finds a lot more apps than growl does. the growl preference pane screenshot is here

Alright, so for any application you want to work with Growl 1.3 that is not listed in Growl, please try updating them to the Growl 1.3 framework first and let's see what that does to your applications list. :)
