I have the ToDo app's "Finished Sync" Growl application notifications settings set to Stay On Screen "Never" but the growl notifications remain indefinitely until I manually dismiss them.

Dropbox update notifications also remain on screen but I notice I had set it to "Application Decides", so I just now changed that and hopefully they will auto-dismiss.

I haven't seen in 1.3.3 where this was an issue, but it was an issue in 1.3. Can you tell us what version of Growl you are using?
