Growl not installed and says it is installed in the App store

Growl 1.3 not installed (clean system install, no helper app) and says it is installed in the App store. Was on different drive, same computer. I can't get it to reinstall from the app store. Other apps work in app site for updates.

- Ran Uninstall Growl script.
- No Growl related processes in Activity Monitor

Any tips or clues would help.

Growl 1.3.x is not a prefpane it is a app in your applications folder
