Light Box or Simular Pop Up (how to display lightbox image by click on more info link)

Hi there
Developing a website where i am using the Google Maps API
I search for a location and load a business, when you click on the
marker to display the Info Bubbble it displays the breif information
correclty with a more info link which is all working well.
When i click the more info option i now need this to pop up in a light
box or simular, currently it is opening in a new window. The API seams
to remove the class i am using and other code i try.
Does anyone know of a quick fix for this?

how about create a div within the dom and just set the display to
block ? i dont see a problem there ...

Spud were you ever able to get this to work? I am trying to do the same thing, but have had no luck.
