Remove map type controls(Satellite/Map/Terrain)

Hello,

I got the html iframe embedded codes from google maps, I embedded it on my website, I am trying to remove the map type controls(Map|Sat|Ter), I checked Google Map Parameter, but I coundn't find such a option. Is it possible to remove it? How can I do it? I know JavaScript API has options to do that, but for some reasons I have to use the html embedded codes, so can anyone help me please?

Hi,

The iframe embed found on maps.google.com is not actually using the Maps API. For more information on the Maps API, see here:

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply, I know that the iframe embed code it not using the google maps API, for some reasons I can only use the iframe embed codes from maps.google.com for my website, so I am wondering how I can remove the map type controls if I use the iframe embed codes found on maps.google.com. Or is this the wrong please to post this question? If so, which group should I go ask?

If you want an 'inactive' map, have you looked at Static Maps?

Thanks, Rossko, I did look at the Static Maps, however, that's is not what we want, we just need the normal map view, and we don't need other map types like satellite etc. I will post the question on the right forum, thanks for your help.
