Earth within the Maps API V3

Is there a way to use the Google Earth feature within the Maps API? We just finished learning how to do this but we used Maps API v2 however those steps do not work using this newer version of the API. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I a beginner to this.

Try the Google Earth utility library, which provides some integration between Maps API and Earth API:
