hi i have a strange problem i amusing google maps java api v3 in one of my sites which suddenly stopped working yesterday. i dont think there is anything wrong witht he code because it was working the days before, moreover i tried using older backups which were working 100% and they dont now. when i load the maps
i see just a white background, fromt he code it appears as if the map is executed . i tried using the code and the older backups in a another pc and the result is the same, map is not showing and there is a white background. i have downloaded a couple of the google map apis example and they work.
has there been any change in the google map apis from yesterday?

thanks

Could very well be. Are you using the "nightly" version?
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/basics.html#VersionDocs

See if reverting to v=3.4 works.

(or post a link to your map as requested in the posting guidelines so
we can help more effectively)

after a lot of search we found out the problem, i honestly dont know why this happened bu we believe that google changed something,we are using asp.net we used to have the div witth the map under the body->form->. now we moved the map div under the body and above the form, removed the position:absolute and it worked. we tried your recommendation with the version but it didnt work( we checked3.3, 3.4 and ofc 3.5)

thks

Don't think it was a change by google then, must have been a change to
your page, which you imply was not the case, did you try a known
previously working version with those earlier versions?. When did you
move the map into the form?

i have tried all of our earlier backups with older googel vers  but without any success. the map was in the form from day one since the map is the main idea of the entire site. i would have think that it was our page or the server or anything from our side if the old backups were working in any of the test pcs, but this is not the case here. anyway thanks for your replies , i always appreciate any ideas shared

Are you including the maps samples css directly? That was updated recently but you shouldn't be relying on external css for your own site.
