I am having the same problem. I have an iPhone and I noticed all the other iPhone users I have in my list are updating normally as well as one Android user. But then 5 other Android users show up as no location. Started yesterday. Also they don't show up on my computer version of latitude either. Was it maybe an Android update?

I am pretty sure Latitude ceased working for all android phones until users download latest Google Maps update and re-join Latitude.  I noticed this morning when I updated Google Maps.  I think it is to resolve a bug "opting in", that is my hopeful guess.
