API Management of New Roles Feature?

I'm excited to see that Google has started using roles to delegate admin rights to users:

but I haven't seen anything about exposing roles via the Provisioning API. Are there any plans to add role support to the API?

Yeah it would be a great addition to Google Apps APIs, and a few more resources available in the control panel that are not in apis.
