Hi,

I recently noticed that the provisioning API is now available for Google Apps free but I haven't seen any official announcements. Is this change meant to be permanent or a temporary change?

Cheers,
Jorge Luis

Hi,

Any Google employee that can provide some inside about this change? The official documentation still states that the Provisioning API is only available to Business and Education editions.

Thanks,

Hello Jorge,

Can you please tell if you are using the Provisioning API with the marketplace apps? The Provisioning API is free with the marketplace apps.

thanks,

I am seeing the option to enable Provisioning API in Standard/Free domains now also (been there for a month or so if I recall):

I've tested this with GAM and found that some API calls like creating accounts work but others like retrieving nicknames do not. Also Email Settings API and Email Audit API do not work.

Might be a good idea if Google clarifies in the docs what's supported/works and what isn't for Free Edition today.

Jay

Hi Shraddha,

Ours its a mobile application so it requires each customer to activate the Provisioning API directly.

Also, as Jay Lee mentioned, it would be really helpful if you can clarify whether from now on the Provisioning API will be available for the Google Apps Free edition too.

Please help us clarify the situation because, at least for us, this significantly changes our potential market.

Cheers,
