app engine team should consider sending email alerts about such maintenances few days before.

From what I can tell, we are not in a maintenance period today -- and deployment is broken here at least.  Since trying to deploy this morning my app has been 500 ever since.

It's a go-lang app, app id is cincinnati-rowing.
