Any plan of changing pricing policy for non-commercial GAE project?

I hope this question is answered by GAE insiders.  

During this year's *** conference,  I heard from someone that GAE is planning to give different pricing policy for non-commercial research projects. 

Is that true?   Anyone heard similar news?     

It is so crucial to me because two projects I've been working on more than 1 year have to be ported to another platform because the recent increase of price.

Unfortunately, as always I can't give a specific date when other types of non-commercial use programs will be in place, but if you sign up on the form we'll contact you once they are.
